Student Technicians will begin with basic hands-on service department tasks such as<\/p>

Set-ups and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) with increasing responsibilities and<\/p>

technical work as training progresses. Initial job responsibilities will include:<\/p>

\uf0a7 Assists the Service Manager and technicians in the efficient operation of the Service Department<\/p>

\uf0a7 Cleans, organizes, and maintains the condition of the shop, vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment<\/p>

\uf0a7 Assists service technicians as needed, including delivery of parts<\/p>

\uf0a7 Assists service technicians with repairing, servicing, and moving equipment<\/p>

\uf0a7 Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs<\/p>

performed on work orders and on time submittal of information<\/p>

\uf0a7 Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, turf, construction and<\/p>

powersports equipment<\/p>

\uf0a7 Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and other manufacturer products<\/p>

\uf0a7 Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job<\/p>

\uf0a7 Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion<\/p>

\uf0a7 Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments<\/p>
